The will
Margaret put off her will for eleven years. Then a law firm’s homepage story shows her it starts with one plain conversation.

A hairdresser opens her own salon and doesn’t know what a BAS is. Her accountant’s story of her first year, month by month.

Lena has cut hair for twelve years. In March, she opens her own salon. She knows colour, and clients, and how to fill a Saturday.
She doesn't know what a BAS is. Her accountant's website says: BAS, bookkeeping, tax planning, business advisory. Lena reads it twice.
It's a list of words she was hoping someone else would understand. So the receipts go in a drawer. Then the first BAS is due, with a number she didn't put aside.
Now picture the same firm sending every new owner a short animated story of their first year, told from their side. Month one: Ruth sets up her books, and a separate account for the tax. Month three: the first BAS is already done.
Lena just checks it and approves it. Month six: Ruth rings. Winter's quiet in salons, so they plan for it.
Month twelve: her first tax return, and no surprises. One person to call, the whole way. Lena watches it before she signs up.
