What the film says

One new patient record, for every hospital in the region. Thousands of clinicians, all trained before go-live. Most of them get a login, a two-hour session and a guide.

Rose is seventy-nine. She falls at home and goes to the regional hospital. That night, she's transferred to the city.

The old way, her story goes with her on paper and over the phone. The city team asks her the same questions three times. Now picture the rollout starting with a short story of Rose's day on the new record.

The regional nurse records her fall. The ambulance crew sees her medications. The city doctor opens the same record.

The pharmacist checks her doses. Her GP has the discharge summary the morning she goes home. Every clinical group sees its moment in Rose's day, and why the record matters to the next person who treats her.

At Explainer Makers, we made a two-minute kickoff story for a healthcare IT project. It took the place of a forty-page PowerPoint. The project manager said they all understood it, and it changed the way they delivered the project.
